Work & Play Combined: How does mid century residential architecture adapt to the context of the popularity of Hipster-crazed Williamsburg, together with an office space program? The combination of wood, white and accents of teal infuse a sense of freshness. The proximity of this emerging Brooklyn Mecca for inspired youth to the water is picked up in said accents. 

Reimagining the Monochrome: The space itself and how the transitions occur and inter-play are what the focus of this design is born from. The accessibility and interconnectedness a key. Inspired by the factories and industrial notes of the area, the idea is to reimagine this feeling. How can we make a grayscale space, as if the space itself were a black and white photograph?
